API Reference

Base URL, authentication, request format, versioning and idempotency.

A small JSON-over-HTTPS API. Six endpoints, bearer-token auth, predictable errors.

Base URL

https://api.intactvoice.com/v1

All requests use HTTPS. Request and response bodies are JSON (Content-Type: application/json), encoded as UTF-8.

Authentication

Send Authorization: Bearer sk_live_… (or sk_test_…) on every request. See Authentication.

Versioning

The URL is versioned (/v1) and will only change for breaking changes. Models are versioned separately and reported on every response, for example "model": "rewrite-2026-10".

New model versions are announced in the changelog at least 30 days before they become the default; pin one with the Model-Version header if you need byte-stable behaviour.

Useful headers

Header	Direction	Purpose
`Idempotency-Key`	Request	Makes POST retries safe for 24 hours. A replay answers from the original job; no response text is stored.
`Model-Version`	Request	Pin a model, e.g. rewrite-2026-10.
`Request-Id`	Response	Same as the id in the body. Quote it to support.
`X-RateLimit-*`	Response	See Rate limits.
